Our Story: Sunnycare Aged Care Story
Founded in 2013, Sunnycare began with a simple vision: to provide compassionate and reliable home care services to those who need support to live independently. What started as a small team driven by love and dedication has grown into one of the 12 largest care providers in Australia.
Expanding to the NDIS
In 2015, we expanded our services to include the NDIS, empowering people with disabilities to live with dignity and choice. Through our NDIS programs, we provide essential daily supports, connect clients with the specialists, and deliver tailored care for people with all types of needs. Our goal is to ensure every participant feels supported, and able to thrive.
Serving Multicultural Communities
Recognising the richness of Australia’s multicultural communities, Sunnycare has since built strong connections across the Vietnamese, Chinese, Arabic, and Australian communities, ensuring that care is delivered with cultural understanding and respect.
Opening Our First Aged Care Facility
In 2022, we opened our first aged care facility in Brisbane South, beginning a new chapter in how we care for older Australians. Our focus goes beyond meeting daily needs — we aim to create a place where residents feel truly at home. We prepare authentic hometown meals, celebrate cultural events, encourage daily activities that promote both body and mind. We strive to give every resident meaningful experiences and treasured memories in their later years, setting us apart from traditional aged care.

Growing Across Australia
Today, Sunnycare supports clients across South East Queensland, Melbourne, and Sydney, and we are preparing to expand our services to even more regions in the near future.
