Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP)
CHSP is an entry-level home support program that helps elderly to live independently in their homes and communities.
It focus on helping senior with their everyday tasks, doing it with them rather than doing it for them.
There are varieties of support program under CHSP, Sunny Care is specialised in the following categories:
Once you have been approved for the Commonwealth Home Support Program, My Age Care Team will send you a referral code, one code per approved category. With this code, Sunny Care can immediately organise services for you.
There are 4 levels of Home Care Packages from Level 1 basic care need to Level 4 high care need, this support is designed for elderly with more complex care needs that go beyond what the Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) can provide.
In other work, Under HCP, Sunny Care can do tasks for you.
The Home Care Package is an integration of the entry-level CHSP.
Within the package, care recipient can coordinate mix of services includes: help with household tasks, purchasing large equipment, minor home modification, personal care, clinical care and Allied health services.

Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA)
Veterans who have served in the Australian Defence Force ( ADF) may be eligible for pensions or benefits from DVA.
Veterans or their dependant will receive a Veteran card from the department of Veteran’s Affair, Gold/ White/ Orange.
“If you hold either Gold or White Veteran card, you may be able to receive Community Nursing services at home.
Help with things like medication, wound care, hygiene, showering and dressing. If eligible, you do not need to pay.”
Sunny Care can provide community nursing and/or personal care Services in your home by Registered and Nurses and/or Personal Carers.

There is no cost to you, Sunny Care will invoice DVA directly.
